- former Financial Services Authority (FSA)
Levies you can calculate are those for the:
- Money Advice Service[3] (MAS)

- Pensions Guidance Service[6] (Pension Wise)
Calculate your fees
To calculate your fees and levies, use these links to select the fee year you want.
You can also choose whether to calculate fees based on consultation or final rates (ie by ‘scenario’).
Sometimes there can be additional fees and levies that are added during the financial year but which aren’t included in the calculator. You’ll need to calculate these separately and add them to the results of your online calculations.

Additional FSCS Levy for 2012/13
In 2012/13 the FSCS set an interim levy of:
- £20m for the Investment Intermediation sub-class (SD02)
- £16m for the General Insurance Intermediation sub-class (SB02)
The fee calculator does not include calculations for these interim levies.
So, when you calculate fees for this year, use the calculator and add an additional payment of approximately:
- £52 per £10,000 of annual income for SD02
- £17 per £10,000 of annual income for SB02
Annual income is as shown on your 2012/13 invoice for these classes.
For more information, read the FSCS letter dated 20 March 2013[33].
Estimate your total share of the levy for sub-class SD02
Divide the total levy (£20m) by the total annual eligible income for all participant firms (£3,883,064,530) and multiply the result by your firm’s annual eligible income for this sub-class (as shown in your 2012/13 fees and levies invoice for this sub-class).
For example, if your firm reported £27,500 annual eligible income for sub-class SD02; £20 million divided by 3,883,064,530 multiplied by 27,500 = approximately £142 levy to pay.
Estimate your total share of the levy for sub-class SB02
Divide the total levy (£16m) by the total annual eligible income for all participant firms (£9,282,614,503) and multiply the result by your firm’s annual eligible income for this sub-class (as shown in your 2012/13 fees and levies invoice for this sub-class).
For example, if your firm reported £27,500 annual eligible income for sub-class SB02: £16 million divided by 9,282,614,503 multiplied by 27,500 = approximately £47 levy to pay.
